       Dasha was born in Russia, Moscow, in 1991. She has moved 
        to Australia with her family in 1996. Her first violin lessons began when 
        she was five and a half under the direction of her grandparents, respected 
        Russian violin pedagogues. Dasha has won many Esteddfod competitions 
        and Musical Society of Victoria Awards starting from early age. 
      At 11 years old Dasha won Dick Teychenne Memorial Scholarship 
        in Open Section of Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod and was awarded AMusA 
        in violin. Two years later she gained LMusA with distinction. In 
        2004 she was awarded Paul McDermott Violin Scholarship presented 
        by Australian Strings Association. Also in 2004 Dasha was awarded full 
        scholarship to the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. 
        Later in the year 2004 she has received a full academic and music scholarship 
        at Firbank Grammar School, where she has been studying since 2005. 
        She was also offered a scholarship as a Young Academy Musician at “Young 
        Academy” based in National Academy of Music in 2005. Dasha has 
        studied her principal instrument, violin, with Alice Waten, Head of Strings 
        at ANAM.  
      In July 2005 Dasha was invited to perform at the 3MBS 
        FM "30th Anniversary Celebration Concert and Outside Broadcast" at BMW 
        Edge in Melbourne. In 2006 Dasha has received First Prize in String 
        Section | 25 years and under as well as Concerto Section at Dandenong 
        Festival Of Music and Art for Youth. Since 2006 Dasha has been studying 
        with Melbourne University Professor, Nelli Shkolnikova.  
      Education 
      2003 - Awarded an Associate Diploma in Music | Violin 
      2003 - Was offered enrolment at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary 
      School | equivalent of winning a major scholarship that is provided by the 
      Victorian State Government 
      2004 - Was offered full Academic and Music Schoolarship at Firbank Grammar School 
2005 – Was offered a scholarship  as a Young Academy Musician at at “Young Academy” based in National Academy of Music.

      Performances 
      Although Dasha is only 15 years old, she really surprises 
        people with a mature performance and great technique. Performing with 
        Gypsy Swing, Concertino Trio and Tzigani she has developed into a most 
        unusual and successful member of these bands, winning the hearts of her 
        audience. Dasha is a versatile violinist. She maintains a highly professional 
        attitude weather she is performing as a soloist in a recital or joins 
        other musicians in a journey through world music tunes.
