INDIGO TRIO

This Trio has emerged out of nostalgia for the Old Russian tradition of performing classical music. It is no secret that the practice of this music is specifically romantic in nature. This music evokes emotions like no other – it is like a delicate thread of lace one minute and a reckless fiery soul the next. The Indigo Trio, a fresh blend of violin, cello & piano, is a beautiful combination of sounds. Comprised of exceptional musicians from the Old Classical School of Russia, Indigo’s repertoire includes classical standards as well as some unknown pieces. They perform music by composers such as Brahms, Liszt, Rubenstein, Strauss, Piazzolla & Arbos. The performers add their unique interpretation and suspend you in a mid air … bliss Igor Oskolkov - violin; Alex Begelfor - cello; Anatoly Gelbak - piano
