Adam Gare being one of Melbourne's best mandolin players spent two years playing with Uncle Bill, along with double bass player Stuart Speed. Now, he plays with local doowopians "Dr doo-wop" on electric mandolin and of course using his golden tonsils.

Sam and Adam have played together in various country flavoured bands which is obvious in their twin pickin. Sam being one of the busiest guitarists in Melbourne plays a very fine tune to just about any type of music.

Jody Bell has been seen singing and playing with various bands such as Boof and the J&T Hour and always having a country band on hand. Jody and Adam share the vocals in Hula Wonder singing together for so long now their harmonies are enough to make any hair stand on end.

Hula Wonder play a blend of favorite covers and originals, ranging from Doc Watson, Dolly Parton to Gram Parson and bands such as Cake. Having an all acoustic line up lends itself to some pretty sweet sounds and thats the sound of their first CD together recorded at Adelphia Studio late last year.

Because of the simplicity of an acoustic band, Hula Wonder can play almost anywhere. From backyards to ballrooms, book launches to bars.
